Sheriff Joseph “Joe” P. Baron has dedicated over 37 years to law enforcement, protecting and serving Norfolk, Virginia. With over two decades of leadership experience, he has worked tirelessly to uphold justice, build community trust, and enhance public safety. After 26 years with the Norfolk Police Department, he has spent the last 11 years leading the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office, where he continues to drive reforms and advocate for a safer Norfolk. Re-elected in 2021, Sheriff Baron joins us to discuss crime, justice, leadership, and the future of law enforcement in Norfolk.
